It is official! The first meeting of the Reunion Committee will be Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. at Mangos Restaurant and Lounge on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. You can find directions to Mangos and a menu on their website.
The following members have confirmed their attendance Sally Katz, Helen Reisberg, Chuck and Elayne Boehm, Janet Metz, and Mr. Maduros. Lisa Laughton, Jeff Brodeur, Marcy Seligman, and super lawyer Steve Eisenberg will try to be there. Cathy Hoffman, Donna Schroeder, and Wendy Greenwald have all pledged their assistance, but can't be at the meeting.
The Committee needs help with the email addresses for Joey Berman and Leila Bishop. They haven't been getting the emails so if anyone knows their email address please send them to nova78reunion@gmail.com. Also, if you know how to reach them, please let them know about the meeting at Mangos.
The following items will be up for discussion. Is this the last time we should do a reunion for just the Class of 1978? Should we send out invitations to other classes or not? Where should the 30th reunion be held? Nothing will be set in stone on Wednesday night. The purpose of the meeting is to set a direction to move in for the next several months. Time flies when a reunion is only a year away!

Hello Nova High Reunion Committee! What is with this 30 year thing? What the heck happened and when did we stop being 20??? Everyone is calling me Ma'am at work and they look like they are 12! I never looked that young. Ohhhh, MY LIFE IS OVER... Agggghhhhh! Oh well, I guess I dont actually mind being an elder of the tribe and AARP wants me BAD!
Your blog is great Harry. Your committee meeting sounded pretty fun. I dont think I remember any Mango's on Las Olas. Looks like an interesting place. Not too many places to socialize in Titusville... well maybe that is unfair...hummm, well you have your Micky D's, and Wendy's and Burger King. We have a Super Wal-Mart! OHHH, and we just got a Target that has a slurpee machine with cherry slurpee's!
I hope you know your efforts are appreciated. I would love to hear your wonderful plans. Sounds pretty fun to just get together and make the plans! I wanted to test drive the blog but it is sure a great opportunity to pass along well wishes and hopes this note finds you all fat and happy.

Great to hear from you Janiene. I didn't realize you were living in Titusville. We pass near there on our way to and from Cocoa Beach. That's one disadvantage of living in the center of the state -- I miss the coast. We usually try to spend a weekend there every summer. All together I'd say we spent two or three weekends this year.
